Gametime's marketing focuses on new user acquisition, they run ads mainly on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. Ever since I've joined the Gametime Creative team in early 2016, I'm the main designer in-charge of the team's visual design, that includes storyboarding for animated ad concepts, final graphics for video ads, and static ads design.
I'm also involved in the creative process for the ads from beginning to end which include concepting, storyboarding, casting talents for live-action ideas, location scouting, and art directing the motion designer. The ads created by the Creative team have proven to be successful under the weekly testing environment that results in high CTR and install rates which helps on the rapid growth of the company.
Live-action Ads

Gametime's live-action ads consist of hiring talents to act for various concepts that promote that value props of Gametime, the value props that stand out for Gametime are: Last-minute Discount on Tickets and See the View Before You Buy. For video ads, most of them are 10 - 25 seconds long, and each one has a hook at the beginning which grabs people's attention to keep watching.
We are a small in-house Creative team but we do everything ourselves including concepting, casting, location scouting, renting video equipment and we set up the lighting and video equipment on our own at the location, which includes: SAP Center, Stanford Stadium, Excite Ballpark, various apartments and city locations in the Bay Area, and we occasionally will go to actual games in Staples Center, Oracle Park and Chase Center to do live shooting with our talents and capture the excitement in live games for our ads.

Graphic Driven Ads

Graphic driven ads including ads that are not relying on talents and mostly on beautiful graphics and views. We have a company library consist of 200+ highly detailed maps made by me and the contractors when I was in the Venue team, and also 1000+ seat view photos from the photographers we hired in the states to capture the beautiful photos inside the stadium for us.
These ads are really fun to work on and it has endless possibilities, also very low budget. The ones I made shown below have proven to be really successful in social media and have the same performance as the video ads above.

While working in the Creative team I'm also in charge of the design of the company email, including the weekly events promo, season openings of major sport events, and also partnership with teams.
